Wonton Noodle Recipe (Hi I'm back!)
It's been quite a while since I posted, but I'm back! I suddenly wanted to make wonton noodles, so here you go! A basic easy wonton noodle recipe. Feel free to change to change the type of meat to your liking. I believe the wonton can be frozen after assembling them, as long as the meat of your choice isn't seafood. For me personally I may leave the ginger out in the future. But overall I love the simplicity of this recipe and its a nice basic recipe to start with if you're making wonton noodles for the first time. It's nice and chilly where I live so these are perfect!

- Directions for Wonton Filling: Chop off the whites of 2 green onions, set aside the white part for the soup. Chop the green part of the green onions, set aside in a small dish.
- In a large bowl add 7 oz Ground Beef, 7 oz Chopped Shrimp. Use a potato masher and mash until smooth 20 times And alternatively if the masher doesn't work, place everything on a cutting board and chop. Return everything into a bowl.
- Add 1 Tbsp Grated Ginger (optional), 1/2 Teaspoon Salt, 2 Chopped Green Onions, 1 Tablespoon Light Soy Sauce, and stir.
- Directions for Assembling Wontons: Lay out wonton wrappers, add 2 teaspoons of filling on each wrapper, brush the edges with water, fold over into a triangle. Cross each end back, pushing the meat side forward. (Watch video with a clearer explanation for assembling)
- Directions for Soup: In a pot add 3 Cups Chicken Broth, 1 cm Ginger, Leftover white's of the green onions from earlier, 1 1/2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce (low sodium), 2 Teaspoon Sugar, 2 pieces of crushed garlic clove. Let it boil, then simmer for 5-10 minutes. Remove garlic, ginger, green onions.
- Cooking Vegetables: Add any vegetables to cook now, Chinese broccoli or bok choy, cook until dark green. Remove from the pot once dark green, cool in cold running water and set aside
- Cooking Dumplings: In boiling water cook dumplings in batches for 4 minutes or until they float. It's very important to not overcook the dumplings, do not go over the time. Remove dumplings with a slotted spoon, or strainer, but quickly.
- Cooking Egg Noodles: Cook egg noodles according to package directions. I'm boiling mine until cooked, and testing for doneness by tasting.
- Assembling Together Wonton Noodles: In a bowl add cooked wontons, noodles, vegetables, and pour in the soup. Top with chopped green onions
